So a few months ago I was on a rant about up-dos for those of us with baby fine locks. I came across this article in a recent issue of Glamour magazine; it’s the most applicable advice I’ve seen to date:
In the first post, we mentioned extensions and clip-in hair pieces… I guess $50 is a small price to pay for a lush pony (like the one above), but if you plan on going all out, definitely heed our advice to build it into your budget, and make sure you experiment in advance. (Again, something those of us with fine hair know…the bulky clips that many of the cheaper clip-in hair pieces rely on to stay in place were not manufactured for thin hair – they don’t bind very well to our shiny locks and are usually visible.)
Still waiting on a pro to step up to the challenge and send us some pix and advice for the thin-haired set!
