At the Pavilion, we take care of setting tables, chairs and furniture according to a floor plan designed by you – it’s a complementary service we offer with your site fee. The thing brides seem to struggle with the most isn’t the number of chairs and tables and estimating a guest list…It’s usually whether to assign seating, and if so, how to do the place cards.
Some of the cutest things we’ve seen when it comes to placecards are tables designated with pictures or with items / places / things that are meaningful to the couple, such as exotic places they visited together, pictures of grandma and grandpa’s wedding with their story, names of the 14ers the couple bagged together, that kind of thing.
So while you’re being creative about the tables themselves, why not be equally as inventive with how you display and distribute placecards? For starter ideas, check out this Tip of the Week from MyWedding.com.
